Abstract
In this paper iterative procedures for obtaining the minimum fuel (minimum l 1 solution) and minimum control amplitude (minimum l ∞ solution) are developed. The development is based on the steepest descent method for constrained optimization problems. The minimum energy solution is used as an initial point for iterations. The algorithmic procedures suggested are essentially the same for the above control problems and easy to implement.Keywords
