Abstract
By the use of thin layer chromatographic techniques and exchange column chromatography, 20 free amino acids were found in human saliva. No qualitative or semiquantitative differences in the amino acid content were observed among caries-susceptible and caries-resistant individuals 20 to 30 years old. Keywords
