Abstract
We describe the use of the extensor pollicis longus tendon as an extension of the motor unit in an opponens transfer. Its advantages, and its successful application in 4 cases, are illustrated. To the best of our knowledge, this method has not been described before. We believe it to be a satisfactory addition to the other methods described. Keywords
