The analytic structure of heavy quark propagators

Abstract

The quark Dyson-Schwinger equation is studied in the current heavy quark limit m --> infinity. We study the analytic structure of the heavy quark propagator in an approximation in which the quark-gluon vertex is modelled by the Ball-Chiu Ansatz, and the Landau gauge gluon propagator takes a gaussian form.
