Abstract
The genetic component of the quantitative variation and the genetic potential for improving the sesquiterpene formation capacity in chamomile were examined. The results demonstrated that sufficient genetic variation exists with respect to the yield of essential oil and its key components chamazulene and α-bisabolol.Keywords
