Abstract
This article reports on a postoccupancy evaluation of Creative Living, Inc., in Columbus, Ohio, which at the time of this study was the only HUD-sponsored apartments for quadriplegics (those paralyzed from the neck down). The article focuses on the environmental components of the Creative Living service delivery system from the perspective of the most important environment-behavior issue found: the desirability of designs that enable the physically limited individual to function as independently as possible. Keywords
