Abstract
The etiologic and clinical aspects of cervical spondylosis reported in the literature are reviewed. The histories of 2 patients with athetosis, in whom severe cervical spondylosis and myelopathy developed, are presented. Cervical spine roentgenograms were obtained in 9 otherwise asymptomatic patients with athetosis. It was felt that the spondylosis in these latter patients was no more severe than one might see in an unselected group of individuals of the same ages. Keywords
