Simulation du Comportement d'un Système de Séchage Solaire pour Céréales

Abstract
Le comportement d'un amas de mais soumis à la double influence d'un flux radiatif et d'une convection forcée d'air chaud est étudié en fonction des principaux paramètres du système. Deux possibilityés de recyclage de I'air dans le séchoir sont également envisagées. The behavior of a maize pile that is subjected to double influence of the radiation flux and the forced convection of warm air is studied as a function of principal parameters of the system. Two possibilities of the recycling of the air in the dryer are considered. Thus, it proves that recycling is interesting while it is carried out across the collector (indirect recycling) since it permits to economize the dispensed energy in the system and reduces the drying time. If the recycling is direct, in other words if the recycled air is sent directly across the grains, there is a limit as regards the percentage of the recycled air. The improvement of the drying performances where the bed of grains is subjected simultaneously to a warm air current and direct solar radiation is not meaningful and is undue for operating such processes. The theoretical model established permits one to know the system's response due to the variation of the parameters such as the flow rate, the temperature of the entering air and the collector surface; and so can help the conception of the solar drying for cereals.
