Abstract
The magnetic susceptibility of some AIIBIII2CVI4 defect tetrahedral compounds was measured at room temperature. The experimental data are analyzed along the line of previous theoretical considerations in which the Langevin and the Van Vleck magnetic susceptibility components are described, respectively, in terms of atomic and bonding parameters of the compounds considered. A comparison of the experimental results with those of ANB8–N normal tetrahedral compounds can be made by introducing the number of bonds per formula as a normalization factor. Keywords
