Abstract
The Raman stretching bands of HDO in liquid water are Fourier transformed to a time axis and it is concluded that both hindered rotatory and hindered translatory motions play a role in giving these bands the observed width. Long time diffusions are not evident in the transformed spectral functions. Keywords
