Abstract
Pregnant women excrete increasing amounts of aldosterone throughout gestation, the average output of 6 cases in the last month of pregnancy being 25 [mu]g/24 hours. Following delivery there is a rapid decrease in the excretion of aldosterone to non-pregnant levels. The increase in excretion of aldosterone is found in the conjugated fraction. Keywords
