Abstract
Summary: Experiments on passive protection of the chick embryo and active immunization of the mouse demonstrate the predominance of the type characterizing (“primary”) antigens of the Flexner bacillus in the immunological response of the host. Cooper's recent data show that this is also true for man.Keywords
