Abstract
Data are summarized from 250 pregnancies. Base time was controlled through planned matings. Menarche occurred at 1200 [plus or minus] 100 days and females were fecund at 1400 days following conception. Menstrual cycles averaged 29 [plus or minus] 3 days and vaginal flow lasted 4 [plus or minus] one day. Patterns of vaginal flow of pregnancy and body weight changes with pregnancy were recorded along with data pertaining to the duration of pregnancy and fetal survival. Pregnancies typically lasted 167 [plus or minus] days following conception and prolonged gestation and prematurity each occurred in 6% of pregnancies, respectively. Cesarean section was complicated by subsequent endometrlosls with a surprising frequency when performed in mid-gestation.
