K correlations and facet models in diffuse scattering: experimental evaluation

Abstract
The predictions for the facet and source-correlation models for diffuse scattering are compared with measurements of the angular distribution of infrared radiation scattered from gold-plated sandpaper. Serious discrepancies between the model predictions and the measurements are reported.Keywords
