Abstract
We quantize the bosonized chiral Schwinger model by using the systematic Batalin-Fradkin-Vilkovisky formalism. We derive a Becchi-Rouet-Stora-Tyutin gauge-fixed covariant action showing that the auxiliary fields introduced in the formalism turn into the Wess-Zumino scalar. Keywords
