Abstract
This review of the immunological aspects of myasthenia gravis and the immunotherapy of the disease emphasizes the current state of knowledge of the immunological events at the neuromuscular junction, and the immunoregulatory abnormalities noted in myasthenic patients. The treatment modalities available to the clinician are discussed in an attempt to provide information that will allow for a rational approach to therapy. Keywords
