Abstract
EPIDERMOID carcinoma of the perianal skin and anal canal is a rare lesion. An initial pilot study using the pathological material available at Hartford Hospital (30 cases) prompted an in-depth study using the available material of the Connecticut State Tumor Registry (157 cases).Thirty-one Connecticut hospitals co-operated in making this study possible.Clinical MaterialOver a period of twenty-five years, a total of 157 cases were available for evaluation.
