Abstract
The case of an 11-year-old girl with typical symptoms of focal dermal hypoplasia (Goltz-Gorlin syndrome) is reported. In a mentally normal child a mild body asymmetry with ocular, skin, dental, and skeletal changes, more pronounced on the right side, has been detected. A special contribution to the presentation is the dermatoglyphic finding of epidermal ridge hypoplasia on the fingertips of the right hand. Keywords
