Abstract
The viscosity of supercooled water has been computed on the basis of free volume and significant structure theories. Excellent agreement has been found between the calculated and experimental results, which confirms the idea of Barlow, Lamb, and Matheson (1966). An excellent correlation has been shown between the free volume and the volume of unbonded liquid at 0 and 10 °C, better than that shown by Miller (1963).Keywords
