Abstract
After the publication of the article on xeroderma pigmentosum which appeared in the March 1944 issue of theArchives,1Dr. Gaumond, of the city of Quebec, called my attention to a family on which he had first reported in 19342and again, with Dr. Mayrand, in 19363and in which there were 6 children affected with this disease. The journals in which these accounts appeared, together with many others, were not available, and hence this family was omitted from the analysis in that paper. Dr. Gaumond sent me a copy of the report; the parents of the family of 14 children, 6 of whom had xeroderma pigmentosum, were first cousins. The sex of some of the normal offspring was not given.
