Abstract
Three species of grey mullet have been recognized in the English fauna, namely, Thick-lipped, Thin-lipped, and Golden. There have been several revisions of the Mugilidae, and the names preferred here are: Thick-lipped grey mullet, Crenimugil labrosus (Risso); Thin-lipped grey mullet, Liza ramada (Risso); Golden grey mullet, Liza aurata (Risso).Keywords
