Abstract
Experiments are discussed which suggest that in compounds such as CdS, hole traps are likely to influence thermally stimulated rate processes. One of the interesting effects attributable to hole traps is negative thermally stimulated conductivity (NTSC). A phenomenological theory of NTSC has been developed. Conditions necessary for the effect to occur and experimental techniques to be employed for its possible observation are described. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
