Abstract
The degree of regulation to be expected from several types of current stabilizers is considered. Regulation equations are derived and a graphical-design method is presented. The regulation produced by a single pentode is much better than that of a single triode. Two cascode-connected pentodes give a better regulation but the tube drop is greater and the circuit is more complex. The regulation may be improved by using nonlinear resistors in the control circuit. Keywords
