Effect of Gender and Age on Family Climate Scores of Black Adolescents and Preliminary Norms

Abstract
The effect of gender and age on family climate scores of 463 black adolescents was investigated. No effect for gender and a significant effect for age were found for only the independence subscale with 256 older males and females scoring significantly higher than 207 younger males and females. Means and standard deviations were given separately for younger and older adolescents.
