Abstract
A microprocessor-based programmable laboratory equipment controller and data acquisition system is presented. In most instances, this system can replace a minicomputer at a substantial cost reduction with no loss of performance. The system hardware and a special purpose programming language, designed to provide good interaction between this system and other equipment, are described.Keywords
