Abstract
It is proposed that, in the temperature range between approximately 3 and 4 K, electrons in bubble states in liquid helium may resonantly attach to impurities (present at a fractional concentration of order ). This proposal would account for the observations of Schoepe and Wagner at temperatures below approximately 4 K.
