Abstract
The kinetics of the inhibition of jack bean urease in the presence of ethylurea and N,N-dimethylurea was studied at pH = 7.0. Both inhibitors were competitive inhibitors. A simple novel method was used for determining the dissociation constants (K-i) values for the inhibition which were 26 and 28 mM respectively. Keywords
