Abstract
Femur marrow fat measurements have often been used as indicators of condition in cervids, both in animals removed by shooting and in carcasses of individuals which died of natural causes. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of desiccation during the time between death and analysis of the marrow sample on the resulting determination of fat content. [Odocoileus virginianus were studied.].This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
