Abstract
Conformal antenna arrays are widely used in wireless communications. In order to design such arrays precisely a CAD tool which can handle complicated configurations is needed. A printed aperture antennas fed by a covered microstrip line in a triplate structure is an example of such arrays. The mixed potential integral equation (MPIE) CAD tool has been successfully used to investigate the behavior of the arbitrarily-shaped aperture antenna, fed by a covered microstrip line. Keywords
