Abstract
✓ A laboratory model was developed for studying antidiuretic hormone (ADH) secretion during mechanical respiratory assist of paralyzed rats. Inappropriate ADH secretion occurred during the use of positive-pressure respirators but did not occur when negative-pressure respirators were used.Keywords
