Abstract
Summary. The total plasma 51Cr‐EDTA clearance was determined twice, with about a 1‐week interval, in 60 patients with various renal diseases and stable renal function. The results were not significantly different whether the patient was confined to bed during the investigation or if the patient left the examination bed for 2–3 h of the investigation period. Furthermore, the reproducibility did not deteriorate if the patients were allowed to leave the examination bed. Keywords
