Abstract
An ellipsoidal non‐parabolic k · p model (enp‐model) is used to calculate the anisotropy constant K = ml/mt and der transverse g‐factor g ⟂ for n‐ and p‐type lead selenide. These quantities are fitted to the experimental values by variation of only one parameter. For the anisotropy constants an excellent agreement could be achieved, whereas the computed transverse g‐factor turns out to be too large by about 30%.Keywords
