Abstract
The behaviour of various materials has been investigated regarding the thermal decomposition of molybdenum disulphide in an argon or nitrogen three-phase plasma generator. Materials tested include molybdenum, copper, thoriated molybdenum and copper-tungsten. Results are presented in the form of erosion rates and voltage and current oscillograms. Keywords
