Abstract
In a sample of 107 traffic wardens, conservatism was more highly correlated with age for unmarried Ss (.51) than for married Ss (.18). This interaction was interpreted as being consistent with the hypothesis that sexual advantage/disadvantage within the context of a “permissive” trend in social behavior, can influence attitudes along the liberal-conservative dimension. Keywords
