Abstract
Plasma electrolyte values were measured in 10 consecutive patients before and after small-bowel enteroclysis. All patients had normal electrolyte values before enteroclysis. No clinically significant change in electrolyte status was observed after enteroclysis, although some dilution occurred. Small-bowel enteroclysis can be safely performed in patients with normal plasma electrolyte values. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
