A correlation of thermospheric gravity waves with tropospheric lightning

Abstract
It is demonstrated that a geographic correlation exists between occurrence frequencies of wave‐like structures in the thermosphere and tropospheric lightning at dawn, the latter of which is an indicator of deep convective activity.Keywords
