Abstract
The approach/avoidance of self-awareness was assessed in a naturalistic setting for individuals surreptitiously rated as low, medium, or high in physical attractiveness. As hypothesized, selective exposure to self-awareness increased as a linear function of physical attractiveness level Results were interpreted as providing additional evidence for self-awareness exposure effects. Keywords
