Abstract
It is suggested to use the Preisach hysteresis model for the description of superconducting hysteresis. It is shown that the Bean (critical state) model and its further generalizations are very particular cases of the Preisach model. It is also shown that noncyclic hysteresis losses in superconductors can be evaluated by using the Preisach model and experimentally measured first-order transition curves. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
