Abstract
A method of preparing a standardized form of alumina cream which gives consistent and predictable results is described. Employing this preparation a series of 24 monkeys was injected intracortically with varying quantities and observed for up to 2 years. Serial ecgs were made. There appeared to be a quantitative threshold for the production of chronic experimental epilepsy which in the macaca mulatta is 0.1 cc of alumina cream containing 18-22 mg of aluminum/cc.Keywords
