Abstract
A review of Yersinia reactive arthritis is presented with a description of clinical manifestations and immunological features. The pathogenesis of the reactive lesion has so far not been resolved since no conclusive data on the existence or nonexistence of Yersinia antigens in the inflamed joints have been reported. It does not appear that Yersinia is involved in rheumatoid arthritis
