Abstract
It has been shown recently that large fluctuations of a local electric field in metal-dielectric granular films can significantly enhance the Raman scattering. In this paper, the spatial structure of giant field fluctuations is analyzed. It is shown that these fluctuations are highly correlated in space. As a result, these fluctuations also enhance light scattering on heterogeneous films. Keywords
