Abstract
There are many well-known causes of diffuse esophageal stricture, including lye burns, reflux, radiation, and several mucocutaneous diseases. We report a case of esophageal stricture secondary to lichen planus. Esophageal lichen planus is rare and frequently mistaken for other more common disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, which delays diagnosis and appropriate treatment, but it should be considered in female patients with cutaneous and oral lichen planus. Keywords
