Abstract
There has been no practical method by which the function of the eustachian tube can be estimated quantitatively. We have modified and improved upon the conventional sound method. As a result, a new apparatus for this method was devised. This apparatus is less expensive, lighter in weight, and smaller in size than the conventional one. By using this apparatus, the estimation is performed in a simpler manner within a shorter period. of time than by the conventional sound method. The new apparatus can be connected with a pen-recorder. When an integrating circuit is used, it is possible to obtain an integrating wave pattern. Keywords
