Abstract
While many medulloblastomas have characteristic features on computed tomography (CT), a significant number have atypical features, including a cystic or necrotic component, calcification, hemorrhage, lack of contrast enhancement, an eccentric location, and/or direct supratentorial extension. Of 30 consecutive untreated [human] cases reviewed, 14 (47%) had such findings. Failure to make the proper diagnosis will result in some cases if these features are not recognized as possible signs of medulloblastoma. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
