Abstract
Kinetic transport coefficients are studied in the vicinity of the critical point for the dynamic spherical model. The solution of the kinetic equation leads to divergent transport coefficients at for the thermal conductivity and sound attenuation in contrast to the earlier results of Ma and Senbetu. Their method is generalized to obtain the particle diffusion constant and viscosity, which are nondivergent at . A comparison to modemode coupling theories is also given.
