Abstract
The remains of a juvenile gorilla, apparently dead for 3-4 days, were found in the Lopé Reserve, Gabon. The skull was recovered and showed a chronic lesion involving the insertion of the masseter muscle, consistent with chronic osteomyelitis.Keywords
