Abstract
While air temperatures at Edmonton fluctuate widely, especially during winter, soil temperatures under varying types of cover fluctuate much less, and about the same throughout the year. Temperatures at 20 cm under different types of cover differ normally by less than 3 °C and at 100 cm less than 2 °C.Keywords
