Abstract
There have been very few measurements of the size of the market sector around the world. This analysis reexamines a 1960 estimate that only 10% of mankind lives in "'fully commercial economics." Figures ranging from 14.9 to 51% of world population and income were obtained, with the more credible numbers around 20%.Keywords
