Abstract
The magnetic properties of a ferromagnet such as U3X4 are discussed in the frame-work of the molecular-field approximation, applied to the model proposed previously, which contains a three-axial single-ion anisotropy. Using the perturbation method in the vicinity of the Curie point, the Curie temperature, the magnetic ordering and the paramagnetic susceptibility are calculated. The spontaneous magnetisation as a function of the temperature is also determined. Keywords
