Abstract
A high speed GaAs/AlGaAs travelling wave Mach-Zehnder electro-optic modulator has been fabricated. The device uses a novel slow wave electrode design to achieve phase velocity matching and has a measured electrical bandwidth > 40 GHz.Keywords
